The Ixia Lidding and closure system enables a variety of sizes trays to be automatically lidded and closed. The system incorporates a ‘Gating System’ to control in in-put of trays along the conveyor, gate and control each tray under the lidder. The lid is held and placed in position over the tray and using a double action mechanism, the lid is ‘clipped’ down onto the tray for final closure.
