An iXIA pick & place machine has the ability to work with all material packaging, including all plastic trays and lids e.g CPET, RPET, Acetate, Polypropylene, and all aluminium, fibre and cardboard packaging. The high speed machine is incredibly adaptable, you simply change the tool inside the machine to accommodate the material you require. This improves sustainability as you only one tray denester machine rather than a suite of machines for the various materials you may be using. It only takes a matter of minutes to change material, then the denester will continue working in perfect harmony with the rest of the production line.
An iXIA pick and place machine works at incredible speed, able to run at 4 trays per second (240 trays per minute) - no manual labourer is able to match our tray denesters. Manually placing the trays onto the conveyor belt has other disadvantages, such as a potentially broken rhythm to the production process, whereas with an iXIA denester, you get an uninterrupted flow of trays being constantly placed onto the line. Also, there are certain health risks attached to this role such as Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) which occurs with repetitive movement. An iXIA tray denester eliminates this issue altogether.
The pick and place machines are 'Plug & Go' meaning there is no need for any tools or engineers, it is an easy to use the placement machine which can be used by anyone. The pick and place machine is fully pneumatic, so it can be washed down with no electrical risk. It is low maintenance - once it is set up you can let the pick and place equipment do the hard work.
